Introduction

The Airport Customer Service Agent (CSA) Course provides you with the knowledge and practical skills for working in the airport environment.   You learn the role of Airport Customer Service Agent step by step and cover all aspects from when the passenger walk inside the airport and approaches the check in desk to issuing of the boarding pass.  The course is broken-down into 18 chapters the Customer Service element and the actual role of the Passenger Service Agent, which is much more practical.  This course covers a number of elements that will enhance your opportunities  of employment  within the aviation industry.   

We have also now included two demonstration courses that last 2 hours each once login onto the system.  This will give you the taste of the systems used at the Airport for Flight Reservations and the knowledge required to Check in Passengers. Information of demonstration (trial courses below). 

The course is broken down into three areas with starting off with Airport Customer Service Operational, once completed you will have two demonstrations on GDS systems.  

Part 1- Airport Customer Service Operational 

The Airport Customer Service Agent (CSA) Course provides you with the knowledge and practical skills for working in the airport environment.   You learn the role of Airport Customer Service Agent step by step and cover all aspects from when the passenger walk inside the airport and approaches the check in desk to issuing of the boarding pass.  

Part 2 - GDS Demonstration Course Airline Reservations (2-Hours)

A system  used for Airline Reservations. Your demonstration will give you a starter of some of the content of the course. 

Part 3 - GDS Demonstration Course Airport Check In (2-Hours) - A system  widely used to check-in passenger while at the airport. Your demonstration will give you a starter of the content.

Part 1: Airport Customer Service Operations  - This course covers 18 modules from the role of a Airport Customer Service Agent to the recruitment process when apply for jobs roles.  You will be studying the following modules:

This course provides you with hands-on practice on the Galileo 2-hour training in the following topics inclusive of managing airline reservations:

  • Flight Schedule and Availability  
  • Flight Information and more

 

Part 3: GDS Demonstration Course Airport Check In (2-Hour)

2-hour demonstration course for you to trial the Check-In System used at Airport by Ground Handling Companies and Airlines.  Some features on the course:

  • Industry standards 
  • Travel Service Provides 
  • Aircraft Types 
  • Aircraft manufacturers 
  •  Airline Geography and more

 

On Completion... 

Once you have completed your course, you will receive a Certificate and Notification of Topics Learnt on the Airport Customer Service , demonstrating to employers your knowledge  and skills attained ready for employment within the industry. 

How much time do I need to complete the course?

The course is expected to take 34 hours to complete. The minimum expected study time invested by a student is 2 hours per week and complete in 17 weeks.  You could also commit to 1 hours each week giving you 12 months to complete your course.  However, this is a guideline and the course can work around your own commitments with you and your tutor you are able to design your own schedule to suit your needs.
