INTRODUCTION 

As a Airport Passenger Service Agent you are expected to provide the highest standard of customer service at all times and portray the airline's image at all times.  This course is for candidates that wish to elevate their career or are considering to equip their skills-set to meet the needs of well-established airlines in order to ensure that the candidate goes above and beyond customer satisfaction.  

 The  Advance Airport Passenger Service Agent course identifies with the different functions and duties in an advance role.  This includes familiarising with airline products and services, issues tickets, issuing excess baggage charges, calculating airfares, reissuing airfares, knowledge of Reservation and Check in Systems and awareness of the Airline Industry.

1. Awareness of Airlines, Product & Services 
  • Familiarise the type of airlines 
  • Identify the type of aircrafts
  • Awareness of the type of airline characteristics 
  • Familiarise with the type of network routes 
  • Identify the type of service levels 

 

2. The Airfares & Ticketing Level 1 entails all the skills required for an exciting career with air travel.  This course is endorsed by Thai Airways. You will gain the following competences and knowledge of:

  • Identify parts of a passenger’s journey
  • Identify cities and counties related to IATA areas & sub-areas
  • Identify global indicators for passenger routings
  • Select quotation of specific passenger routes and select the best fares
  • Construct convent and round the worldwide currencies using rates of exchange
  • Construct and price one way, return and circle trip routes using normal fares
  • Interpret data entries on electronic tickets
  • Identify applicable taxes, fees and charges for specific passenger journeys
  • Calculate child and infant fares

3. The Airline Computerised Reservations Systems  (Simulated) is a worldwide recognised qualification and training required by many travel, airline and airport industry leading employers gives candidates to gain competence in:

    • Construct fares for journey that include visiting the same city more than once 
    • Construct special fares using the milage system
    • Calculate backhaul and circle trip minimum checks 
    • Construct fares using various breakpoints 
    • Examine airfare terms and definitions 

    All courses include mock papers and final examination papers.
